Dujuman Bauchi and the Executive Secretary of Bauchi State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris has distributed empowerment materials to 200 youths and women in a move aimed at improving livelihoods and supporting small-scale businesses. The distribution ceremony took place on Sunday the 27th of September, 2026 at Kofar Gidan Galadima, in Bauchi.
The distributed items include among others:
- Sewing Machines
- Money in Cash
- Generators
While unveiling the items distribution, the Dujuman Bauchi underscores the importance of supporting youth and women, saying they are key towards real social and economic development in a country. He added that the drive is to help them to become self-reliant and earn sustainable income, calling on the beneficiaries to make good use of the items in order for them to support other less-privileged in their respective communities.
He then appreciated Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir (Kauran Bauchi) for ensuring that his government policies are geared towards youth and women development, particularly creating jobs.
Beneficiaries of the intervention, said they cannot thank the Dujuman Bauchi enough, describing it as timely support that could help them improve their businesses and household incomes. They also declared their supports for Governor Bala Muhammad and other politicians who are running under the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).
