FEDERAL GOVERNMENT APPROVES FIVE AIRCARRIERS FOR 2027 HAJJ

The Federal Government has approved five air carriers to participate in the airlift of Nigerian pilgrims for 2027 Hajj exercise.

A statement to this effect by the management of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON says the selection followed a rigorous screening and evaluation process conducted by the Aviation Screening Committee.

The approved airlines are:

  • Max Air Limited
  • Air Peace Limited
  • UMZA Aviation Services Limited
  • Flynas Air and
  • Saudi Air

The statement further says, passenger allocations and airlift schedules will be worked out with respective States and the FCT.

NAHCON management called on all the air carriers to operate in line with 2027 Hajj regulations, particularly with regards to:

  • Issuance of ticket to pilgrims linked with Nusuk Masar data
  • Strict observance of all safety standards and
  • Handling of 32kg main bags and 8kg hand luggage.

NAHCON then advised all stakeholders to cooperate with the approved carriers to ensure a seamless, safe, and comfortable airlift operation for all Nigerian pilgrims.
