The Independent Hajj Reporters is putting finishing touches to host its 2026 Hajj Lecture and Awards Ceremony.
A statement by the National Coordinator of IHR, Ibrahim Muhammad says the theme of the event is: Exploring Business Opportunities in Hajj and Umrah Ecosystem.
Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima is expected to be the Special Guest of Honour at the event coming up on Thursday the 20th of August, 2026 at the Auditorium of the National Mosque, Abuja. It will commence by 10 am. The Minister of State, FCT, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud Bunkure is the Chief Host, while NAHCON Chairman Ambassador Ismail Abba Yusuf will be the Chairman the Occasion.
