The Executive Secretary of Bauchi State pilgrims Welfare Board, Imam Abdurrahman Idris has continued his engagement with stakeholders on how to mobilize pilgrims to meet the 2027 Hajj payment deadline.
At a meeting with traditional rulers in Alkaleri Local Government Area, the Board Secretary called on the traditional rulers to assist in educating pilgrims on early payment and registration for the 2027 Hajj exercise. He said the 25th of September, 2026 remains the deadline for the collection of initial deposits.
In their remarks, the traditional title holders took turns to pledge their commitment to ensure that intending pilgrims for 2027 Hajj pay the initial deposits in good time.
