Asake took centre stage on the second day of Afro Nation Portugal, delivering a captivating headline performance that had thousands of fans singing along to some of his biggest hits.
The YBNL star treated the crowd to an energetic set featuring fan favourites from across his catalogue, including chart-topping anthems like “Sungba” and “Lonely at the Top.” He also showcased songs from his recently released album, performing tracks such as “MCBH,” “Gratitude,” and “Forgiveness,” further cementing his status as one of Afrobeats’ biggest global stars.
Asake was joined by a strong lineup of Nigerian stars who proudly represented the country’s thriving music scene. Olamide thrilled fans with a hit-filled performance featuring tracks like “Wo,” “Issa Goal,” and “Stupid Love,” while Wande Coal, Young Jonn, and Blaqbonez also delivered standout sets that kept the festival’s energy at an all-time high.
Adding an international flavour to the night, Congolese music legend Awilo Longomba brought his signature Francophone energy to the festival, getting the crowd dancing with his infectious performance. American singer Mariah the Scientist also took to the stage, serenading fans with her soulful sound and emotional performances.
