The album will feature 13 tracks, making it the shortest studio album of his career. His previous albums, Omo Baba Olowo (2012), A Good Time (2019), A Better Time (2020), Timeless (2023), and 5ive (2025), all contained 17 tracks. Over the years, Davido has delivered some of his biggest hits, including “Dami Duro,” “Fall,” “If,” “Risky”, “FEM,” “Jowo,” “Unavailable”, and “With You” featuring Omah Lay.
Speaking about ORIADÉ in two different interviews, Davido said the album will be a return to the sound that made him famous. “The recent music I’ve been working on is really, really African. I’m taking it back to my original Davido kind of music,” he said. The album also marks back-to-back yearly releases for the singer, coming just one year after 5ive was released in 2025.
Expectations are high after the success of 5ive, which produced “With You” featuring Omah Lay, one of the biggest Afrobeats songs of 2025. The album also earned Davido another Grammy Award nomination and was supported by a successful world tour. In Nigeria, he also held a special nationwide tour with shows across the country’s major regions, including the North, South, East, and West, giving fans from every part of the country a chance to experience the album live.
