The Speaker, Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Dahiru Liman, has inspected completed infrastructural projects in his Makera Constituency, including a major road linking Kaduna South and Chikun Local Government Area. The major road starts from Naira Roundabout, passes through Makera and connects to Flour Mill, Bypass or Nnamdi Azikwe Way. The project is being executed by the Kaduna State Government under the leadership of Governor Uba Sani.

Rt. Hon. Yusuf Dahiru Liman also inspected the completed renovated classroom blocks at LEA and Baban Dodo Primary schools in Makera.

Speaking to newsmen during the inspection, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Dahiru Liman said the completion of the road will significantly improve transportation and movement people within the areas, while facilitating the smooth movement of goods and services. He noted that the project will also stimulate economic activities, improve connectivity between communities and contribute to raising the standards of living of residents.
The Speaker commended the Kaduna State Government for its continued commitment to infrastructural development, stressing that good road networks remain essential to economic growth and community development.
Still on the tour, the Speaker, has inspected the completed three-story building comprising 12 classrooms, which he facilitated for the school as part of efforts to expand educational infrastructure and provide additional learning spaces.
The classroom renovation is part of his 2025 Constituency Projects aimed at improving learning environment and providing pupils with more conducive facilities for teaching and learning.
The projects drew commendation from residents, parents, community leaders and other stakeholders, who expressed delight over the visible transformation taking place in Makera Constituency.
The Speaker, who represents Makera Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly, was warmly welcomed by residents and people from different walks of life during the inspection.
In other news, in a demonstration of continued grassroots engagement and commitment to inclusive leadership, the Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Liman, has also interacted with the leaders of women groups in Makera.

Accompanied by Matawallen Makera, Hon. Aminu Sa’ad and Hon. Auwal Alhassan, the Speakers extolled the women groups for their initiatives and supports to ensure good governance in Kaduna State.
The meeting provided an opportunity for open and constructive discussions on the activities, welfare and aspirations of the women groups.

In recognition of their dedication and continued support, the Speaker presented a contribution of ₦1,000,000 to the groups.
